DevOps Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 1 day per week in office)

A fast-growing software product company is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern, scalable systems in a collaborative environment where engineering excellence and continuous improvement are key.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building reliable cloud infrastructure, driving automation, and working closely with development teams to optimise performance and delivery pipelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Software Engineering and QA teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software delivery
  • Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Automate operational processes using scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve infrastructure design
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotations

Key Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (essential) – including services such as EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda
  • Proven expertise in Kubernetes (essential) – managing containerised applications at scale
  • Deep experience with Terraform (essential) for Infrastructure as Code
  • 3–5 years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
  • Good understanding of cloud security best practices

Nice to Have

  • Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) or workflow tools like Airflow
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data architecture
  • Experience working in regulated or high-compliance environments
